Looks like its going to be a good size.
Your first pond is really nice. Are you keeping it also or will you move it and attach it to the new one? _________________ "Its all fun and games until the glass breaks" |

Thanks. It makes a differance when you use a mini extavator to dig the hole
The first pond is nice. Its a shame I have to remove it due to our addition. YOu can see in the photo the rock that is stacked along the back of the pond. That use to be a patio! There is a 23' x 20 hole just on the edge of that rock I kept thinking when we were digging the basement hole that the pond might cave into it. But It dident.
Im going to start completly new and use the existing liner to wrap my waterfall once the main pond is in place. I figure this is the best way to move fish and plants also. Waterfalls always tend to leak water out and around them. So I find that wraping the complete bank works the best. This way the water can splash and fall as it wants to with no worries.
Of Course I dont have much time for it now. I may not get to it this season at all! But at least the hole is there waiting. I'll keep posting as this progress into a pond.
Id like to purchase a large pump and also a waterfall weir from you Jim. Let me know what you have or can get. _________________ "All I need now is..." |

If you went with a 15500 gph pump.It should be enough to run your water fall.
How tall will the waterfall be.Including the depth of the pond? _________________ "Its all fun and games until the glass breaks" |
